So I have missed a couple weeks of posting.  Boo me! I know... I am just really bummed out about the lack of a good camera.  It is at it's repair location but no update yet.  ANYWAY... I digress.  I have big plans for the year ahead and I will share those with you in a couple days.  Stick around, we are going to have a blast!  Sewing projects, fashion, and much more!

Atlanta had really bad weather yesterday evening.  I narrowly missed being in some really bad traffic.  I was safe and sound at home sewing by the time it got really bad.  This morning the news said over 1000 accidents had been reported.  No good.  I hope everyone is doing ok.  My office was closed all morning so we didn't start work until 11 am.  So I got a little extra shut eye today! Yay me!  How is the weather in your neck of the woods?

I love this outfit... a little back ground on it.  I bought these shoes for $13 from DSW I had free shipping and 2 other coupons I used when I purchased them.  I was so excited about the look and the price!  Then I looked in my closet to find I had nothing to wear them with.  UNTIL... I went goodwilling with my Mom and I found this skirt! I brought it home and immediately put them together.  Much to my delight they were perfect together.  On top of that, the shirt gained new life as I never wore it much before.  It gets to stay in my closet now!

Well guys it just keeps getting worse.  I am so sorry this camera STINKS! Poor hubby is feeling the pressure it's not you it's the camera (sorry baby).  So the "Northern Arctic Blast" that is sweeping across Georgia is unfortunately still here... which means I am changing up the shoe situation yet again!  I wore the above awesome navy boots for warmth.  You know we broke an almost 100 year old record with this cold we have had?!  Who's ready for spring?! I know, I know it's still fall... 

Strictly for Warmth

So we have had 2 days worth of flurries here in the Atlanta area.  None of which is sticking!  I layered up to stay warm not only outside but also in my office because as most office dwellers know; they are always cold. I am still SLR Cameraless. So this weeks shots are point and click.  I had no time to go to my mom for pics so I hope to at least find one picture for each day that I am not too embarrassed to post. 

 For happy news... I cheated on my diet this weekend cause I allow myself a cheat day.  However, I am not really supposed to just JUMP OFF THE CLIFF... but I did.  I made this sandwich on a whim and I have to say it was DELICIOUS and well worth the weight I am sure I gained while eating it!!  I am back on the horse today.  Eating yogurt as we speak.

It's over! I did it! 

I gotta tell you, I really enjoyed it.  I am ecstatic to have the rest of my closet back though.  I have learned some cool new tricks from all my new blog friends.  I have also decided to continue posting outfits, so don't forget about me... I will be back on Monday with a new outfit from the rest of my closet.  I will post a round up of all 30 outfits sometime this weekend so check back.  Thank you everyone who started following me and everyone who had kind words during the challenge.  I hope we can continue to get to know one another.

Ever have those days when it starts of so out of wack that you think surely you will have a bad day?  No, just me? Oh well I had one today.  I tried going back to sleep after my alarm went off and my hubby so "lovingly" told me to "get up!" no really he did say it lovingly... I just didn't want to.  Then I was behind on time since I tried sneaking those extra zzzzz....  Then I couldn't find this gray cardigan, I take my pictures in advance so I have NO clue where it is. Maybe still at my mom's house.  I had to sub a different gray cardigan...  Then I get in the car to head to work but can't find my cell phone! Well I stuck it in my makeup bag seeing as I was running so late makeup was not done before leaving.  

What a morning! Whew. 

 Guess what! My day has been pretty good.  No complaints. I attribute it to my bright cheery dress on a cold freezing day!

So how about this! I was driving down the road today and I saw my tire that came off! Can you believe it.  I got a good laugh all by myself this morning.  I just thought I would share.

30 for 30 Day 26 (Tights Week)

It's getting so cold here in Atlanta now.  All relative, I know, I come from Ohio originally who as of right now has snow and is FAR colder at 19 degrees then we are here.  My reality now is that 38 degrees is cold.  So I have decided that for the rest of the 30 for 30 will be tights week.  They are so versatile.  

I am also here to tell you black and brown does go together

... and quite well might I add!

What a morning I had! Let me just say I watched my tire roll past me on the expressway.  You heard me, my tire broke away from my rim and rolled down the expressway!  I was in disbelief.  I felt like the road was getting bumpy so I switched to the next lane over, well that lane felt "bumpy" too.  This is when I thought my tire must be flat.  I quickly start calling the hubby.  Well, as I start telling him "hey, I think my tire is going flat" I look in the side view mirror to see my tire roll past me... I said "oh, no, wait, make that my tire is gone, It just rolled past me.  He quickly headed toward me (about an hour drive from our home).  I also called my Daddy.  He too headed toward me to save the day... I know I am spoiled.  Hey, they don't call me princess for nothing. Anywho, they both got stuck in traffic and in the mean time a HERO unit came up behind me (Here in GA we have these trucks that drive around assisting motorist).  A voice came from the truck "Ma'am pull the car up". I was SAVED!!! Oh, did I not tell you I am dramatic at times too... One last thing, I got a "comment" for this outfit from another motorist... How you ask?... well as I am trying to uncover my spare for my Random HERO man, some one gave me a honk! I was kinda surprised... my HERO just looked up at me and smiled. All that to say, I am safe and sound and ...
