As you all know, I am in a state of flux. I hit a brick wall with my progress on Sunday. I was trying to get dress and it took me over an hour to pick out something simple to where. Why? Well, you also know I have weight to lose so finding clothes in my closet that fit the way I like is a challenge right now. After finally finding something I was content wearing I went to have a "girlfriend therapy session" with my dear friend and later talked with my dear sister about how I was feeling. I was frustrated. I didn't understand why I was not seeing much change. It comes down to me not having patience. I am getting older and as you age your body changes, even as young as 25 like I am. Well yesterday I returned to my gym and I think I worked myself harder than I already have been. I busted down that "brick wall" of frustration and just focused on the task at hand. I started focusing on what progress I am seeing. I can tell I am getting stronger, my techniques are getting better and my endurance is getting stronger. I felt much better! I know I will get through this I just have to get past my own self doubts.
So that leads me to... Kendi Everyday! She writes my absolute most FAVORITE blog! She has posed a challenge. Can I do it? I am really thinking about it. This would end the endless hours of searching for clothes to wear. Even better, it would limit how much laundry I would have to wash. I am really thinking about it. Tell me what you guys think!
I have accepted this challenge! Look for my 30 looks by Sunday!
ReplyDeleteHey, My coworker and I are both going to do this but not until February! I am going to go to her house so I can see what she chooses and she is coming to mine to see what I choose so we will know that those are the only 30 things we will wear to work :) Goodluck Alicia :)
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome Kim! I am going to keep track of you guys. You will have to send pictures so everyone else can see what you come up with!
ReplyDeleteYou can! It's so fun and a lot easier than you think!
